Waffen SS in color Farbe Alte Kameraden March Königgrätzer Marsch
Please read this. Color pictures of the Waffen SS are pretty rare if you ask me. It took me a pretty long time to find some so there are probably not many around. After the first three photo’s you will see some colored photo’s, I’ve also placed that in the video but colored means that they are colored post war. But never less, they still look very nice and they are original but as said before colored. I’ve placed an message (1:36) in the video where the pictures are original color again. It is possible that there are more recolered photo’s in the video but most of them are original. Of course I’m not the all knowing man about that and I can not guarantee that they’re all original and all SS. But I’m pretty sure most so not all of them are SS. This is most of my collection so I just want to share that with you guys.
Next thing, the music. The reason that I added Alte Kamareden and the Königgrätzer march is this: I would like to make this video legal in all countries. Not all countries allow all music, for example a lot of Nazi music is banned in Germany and youtube will block that so that it’s not visible in Germany. I hope they allow this video since I didn’t use Nazi music. Alte Kameraden is one of the most famous marches I guess. Most of us now the melody. The Königgratzer march is also pretty well known. For example it is used in the Indiana Jones movie The last crusade and they use it in Call of Duty World at War (a game).
I’ve placed some information by the photo’s that I have information from. I hope all the information is correct but I think most of it is. I don’t want to spread nonsense. I should write some historical information about the Waffen SS here perhaps so lets call that: pending….
Disclaimer: I’m not a Nazi myself although I believe in Nationalism and Patriotism I’m also conservative and I’m a Protestant (Dutch reformed). I can type about my other thinking about Europe and America but I think I will let that one slip. No reason to talk about that here. The Waffen SS for me is a great fighting unit, probably time considered the best army there ever was. Especially the high divisions like the Leibstandarte, Wiking, Das Reich. The Waffen SS was also the first international army since they had many non German volunteers. Hitler didn’t allow Himmler to recruit too much Germans. He only allowed Himmler to recruit something like under 10% I’m not sure now have to look that up. But Himmler thought that it was a great opportunity to recruit people from the other Germanic countries. Like Belgium, Holland, Norway etcetera. Non Germans couldn’t join the Wehrmacht so this was a great change to get a stronger army. Alright I’ll knock this off now since I’m typing my own knowledge here.
I personally am a man that likes the freedom of speech, so basically you can say what you want but show some respect. I hope as said before that this video will be ‘Germany legal’ so please don’t add to many Sieg Heils or HH’s since youtube will probably ban it then. Sieg Heil is: Sieg = victory Heil = Hail. Remember that we can say a bit less in Europe than the American citizens can. Especially if we’re talking about Nazi things. I will not go into that now since I have to type probably a book about that then!!
I hope I covered most for now and I hope that my story makes any sense. I didnt check it all but perhaps Ill add some information in the future here or perhaps Ill change something.

This one is my favorite one. This is me and grandma in the summer sun all dressed up the day we said our vows. You can’t tell it here but it was hot that June and that rose was red and her eyes were blue and just look at that smile I was so proud. Thats the story of my life right there in black and white
