for a glaze?
that is what I need to know………..
also I would like to know if there is a way to make homemade glaze for bottle cap or paper mache’ , instead of buying it?

thanks!

Hot glue won’t dry flat. But you could use white glue like Elmers, mixed half and half with water. I also use wallpaper paste.

Depends on the Hot Glue — if it is not clear sticks, then when yt is melted and re hardened it will not be clear. So you could try clear hot glue.

Also regular white glue dries clear, so you could put a dab or two of that ontop of the picture in the bottle cap and it will dry clear — but it is not really water proof, cause if it gets wet it will get ‘cloudy’ but will again dry clear after awhile.

A really good permanent solution would be resin, you can get it at Michael’s craft stores. It is 2-part, resin & hardener. You can also add color to the resin (only the kind made for resin, food coloring won’t work). It is a little on the expensive side ($25-$30 or so for all ingredients), but the end result will be very professional looking.

Hot glue wont work. Go to a craft store like Michaels or Hobby Lobby and get clear resin. You can get a lot of bottle caps for $5.00
