What site do I go to to find photographers that take free pictures of military homecoming?
I know there is a site that you can go to that has a list of photographers that will take homecoming or deployment pictures for Military families for free, I cant find the site now that I need it!
There’s a site called whitepages.com where you can look up phone numbers, including commercial people. Or search for a local photographer. If you’re in the area and attending, have a friend take photos. It isn’t like it’s rocket science.
I looked at the oplove site and they say they are for morale boosting and that all albums are sent overseas. They won’t deliver to the states. It looks like this is a site to have family photos taken to send to soldiers overseas. Not that there is anything wrong with this, it just doesn’t look like they take photos of deployments or homecomings.
I sent them an e-mail to find out.

It’s called Operation: Love ReUnited
http://www.oplove.org
I’m having some done at the send off (along with some pre-deployment couples shots done at the beach, although that’s being done by a local photographer rather than one of the op love free ones)

I have never heard of anyone asking for medals. If your unit excelled then the photographers will be on the pilot boat and brought on board before the ship moors. With the cameras rolling and local TV personality with mike in hand will ask you questions. I just said ask the person standing next to me.
