Will there be color pictures of the mars surface from the phoenix lander?

    Yes. Some have already been shown on NASA TV and posted on the web at the source. No ice is visible, because it is summer now.

    Hehehe. I just got back from the U of A and hanging out with a few of the guys on the research and data analysis team.
    Yes, there will be color images sometime tomorrow.
    And after that perfect EDL and the nearly textbook orientation of the package, there are also gonna be a few hangovers tomorrow ☺
