can coloring pictures in a coloring book be consider art?

While I appreciate "Mike’s" answer, I have to disagree. It is as much an art as is decoupage, fastening gems onto clothing, applying faux finishes on walls and furniture, pinstripes on automobiles and stenciling images onto ceilings and walls.

I would classify it as a form of decorative art, like many crafts are.

Certainly, in the selection and application of colors onto a pre printed image, one can exercise one’s creativity in many ways, from unique colors to being able to color "outside the lines" and get away with it.

Remember, the definition of art is NOT the monetary value one might place on it, but in the exercise of creativity. Who do you suppose shows more pride: The millionaire who puts a valuable oil painting up in his den, or the parent that displays his child’s coloring page on the refrigerator door?

Is it possible to take colour pictures with a pinhole camera?

Posted on March 12th, 2010 by admin in coloring pictures | 3 Comments »

I did pinhole photography at college, but we only printed black and white pictures. Is it not possible to do colour?
I understand everything comes out the wrong way round, everything black comes out white and everything white comes out black. So I thought maybe not.

Absolutely possible if you are using film instead of paper in the camera.

If you use color print film then your will get a proper negative that can be printed normally.

where can i find tons of free bratz, myscene and barbie coloring printable pages?

I am trying to find good quality coloring pages that contain really good coloring pictures of the bratz/babyz/kids/dolls. Barbie/myscene and disney princess babies. I have already gone thru the first 20 pages in google. please give me some suggestions.
well thats funny because i already printed about 300 pics from about 20 different sites. i want some more.

You cant, they are copyrighted, and the copyright owners are fanatical about suing people.. if any one did put them on line they would get sued…. the same goes for winnie the pough and tigger characters….
