i ‘m a young artist in taiwan .i don’t know how to find a manager to help me plain mypictures ? and how can i find the gallery to give me show my picture in uk ? i still in taiwan now

a) put a brilliant portfolio online (and the photographs better be excellent too)
b) get on the web and look up reputable art galleries in the UK. Contact them and ask if they want to represent them. Most are going to say no. It’s going to be a lot of work with either none or very low return
c) while you are doing it get shows in Taiwan or anywhere. Go and look for call for artists for juried shows. Participate and be good enough to get actually selected. It’s probably going to cost you money in entry fees and shipping.
d) shipping is going to eat big time into any profits, so don’t expect any. The most likely thing is that it’s going to cost you lots of money. Actually if you offer them a lot of money it’s probably much easier to find a gallery…

Why would you do that?

I have noticed recently that just because someone’s profile is private, doesn’t mean their profile pictures are. Are there any settings to change this?

Your cannot make your profile pic private on Facebook – this is as Dec 15th 2009.

In fact there is a set of information that will always be public and cannot be made private.

Enough content, on you so anyone can create a page about you that contains your name, profile picture, gender, current city, networks, friend list, and Pages.

People don’t like this and have created protests against it to express to Facebook
their dislike. One group that is very good at explaining what is happening is
the one called "The New Facebook is an Invasion of Privacy! Learn, Protect and Protest!"

I took some cool pictures last night and I was wondering if anyone had any cool and free sites that let you do sweet effects on them. Like a negative effect or something. Most sites I’ve been to only let you add the effects, but you can’t save them because you have to buy the product.
Any good websites?

I see a lot of people uploading celebrity morphs, or putting their faces on a celebrity, or just adding celebrity pictures. Are we allowed to do this on Facebook? I don’t want to upload a pic and get my account suspended…

I’m guessing it is okay, as long as you are not impersonating the celebrity, nor taking a profit (as in selling your photoshops, etc). Technically, you shouldn’t because those pictures are copyrighted (someone else took them), but since it is about celebrities and lots of people are doing it just for fun and not actually trying to sell them, I don’t think Facebook makes a huge deal out of it. I was thinking of adding pics, but I’m not going to just in case.
