How can I change pictures saved as thumbnails back to printable pictures?

Posted on September 26th, 2009 by admin in printable pictures | 5 Comments »

my mom saved a bunch of my daughters baby pictures as thumbnails and now I can’t print any of them because they are too small? Any suggestions?

You can’t save them back as large pictures. They are probably 72 dpi (dots per inch) and to print well they should be closer to 300.

You need the original photos.

and yes…. as others have said, you can use editing software like photoshop, but even if you change the image size to be larger, the quality will be horrible. so if you want your images to print well and clear, get the originals.

How do I make my HP PSC 2200 printer stop printing lines through my color pictures?

Posted on September 26th, 2009 by admin in color pictures | 2 Comments »

My HP PSC 2200 printer is printing thin (but very noticable) horizontal lines through my color pictures. The black and white ones come up fine. I also just replaced my ink cartridge. Any suggestions?

You should have an option to clean the print heads on your printer somewhere. It is usually in like a maintenance window of your printer, that should clear up the lines.

When you have a webpage with a picture gallery allowing only one picture ot be opened at a time, what to do?

Posted on September 26th, 2009 by admin in picture gallery | 2 Comments »

I’m talking about those webpages that use Javascript (gallery pages) not allowing you to open more than one picture at a time (a pop-up Javascript window), is there a way around this? A way to open more than once window?

depends on how insane you are… there are plenty of tricks!

and I’ve done them all!

1) bookmarklets enable you to change a script on the fly and do whatever you want!
2) making a little script that reads down their site and presents it how you want it
3) sucking the whole site down to your machine, then browsing the files directly without the html.

But it all depends how much you really want to get at those pix!

How do I get my myspace profile picture to act like a fast slideshow of about 4 to 5 pictures?

Posted on September 26th, 2009 by admin in profile pictures | 2 Comments »

I have seen some myspace profile pictures that change from different pictures but it’s only 1 profile picture. It kinda acts like a slideshow but I know its not. Do you know any good free websites that can let me do that? I think it might be related to a gif animator. I need clear steps.

go to gicker.com i think it makes an animated image the most you can put up there s 10 pics and you get to choose the speed, its pretty awesome. good luck

Where can I find cartoon pictures of The Veronicas?

Posted on September 26th, 2009 by admin in cartoon pictures | 2 Comments »

I’ve seen for a few of their tours that The Veronicas have been drawn in cartoon but I can’t seem to find any pictures anywhere. I also used to have a cartoon version of their entire band but it was deleted. If you could find any that would be helpful.

^she is not literally the cartoon version..she just inspired them to choose the name ‘veronicas’

i think this is the band pic you are talking about:

A guy named Mattt Poser draws all of the ‘official’ cartoon pictures of the veronicas. He has been friends with the girls since they were 4. The Revenge is Sweeter tour poster this year, the Revolution tour poster in 2006, and the single cover art of ‘this love’ are all designed and drawn by Mattt Poser. Here are some links–

You can also find fan-drawn cartoons–lots of these are on Deviant Art =)

What is a good free picture editing service that would allow me to convert pictures to JPG?

Posted on September 26th, 2009 by admin in free pictures | 2 Comments »

I take a quite a few pictures on my webcam but the only way I can resize or edit them is with Paint, and that saves image files as .bmp, can anyone tell me a good free program that would allow me to convert these images to .jpg and maybe even add cool effects to my pictures? Thank you :]

-Note: I am running Windows ME so I can’t have anything that runs only on Windows XP or any mac computers.

Paint.net is a free program that is fairly decent and easy to use. There’s a forum for it too where people post plugins they’ve created for it.

I wouldn’t use it instead of photoshop or paint shop pro…but if I needed a free program, it would be my first pick.

what is the best way to use celebrity pictures in a online clothing website without being sued?

Posted on September 26th, 2009 by admin in celebrity pictures | 5 Comments »

I have a online clothing website and wants to use celebrity pictures as a reference, what is the best way to do it without getting my ass sued?

Draw/trace them yourself in photoshop or illustrator using the pen tool.
If you want to personalize it even more do it freehand using a Wacom tablet.

edit: also make no mention of their name anywhere

Agnetha Faltskog – My Colouring Book

Posted on September 25th, 2009 by admin in coloring pictures | 25 Comments »

After the release of I Stand Alone in 1988, Agnetha took a break from her musical career and completely withdrew from public life. In April 2004, after 17 years of silence Agnetha came back with a bang by releasing the album My Colouring Book, a collection of covers of 1960s classic oldies.
The album topped the charts in Sweden, reached top 5 in some countries and No.12 in UK. The Times reviewer noted “her voice is still an impressive pop instrument”, and The Observer noted “time hasn’t diminished her perfect voice”.
The album release attracted major media attention across Europe, but Agnetha refused to be involved in any publicity. Despite this, the album sold more than 500,000 copies worldwide, with 50,000 of those in the UK alone.
Agnetha has a fear of flying and has not been on an airplane for over 15 years. When she goes abroad she prefers to travel by car. She prefers a tranquil life in a rural suburb south-west of Stockholm, away from the noisy city atmosphere.
Agnetha wrote these cover notes for My Colouring Book:
The early impressions in life are etched with a particular strength and clarity. That applies especially to music. So this album is a celebration of the music I heard yesterday. A respectful homage to the artists who have inspired me and left deep prints in my soul and in my heart. This is the soundtrack of a time lost, to which I return to, with the mighty forces of music.
I have enjoyed these songs all my life and they hold a special place in my heart. My effort was to recreate these songs with all respect for the originals. My Colouring Book is my way of showing gratitude towards the songs, the artists and all they have given me. You are all deep within my heart and will stay there forever.
To my family, my friends, to all listeners around the world and to everyone involved in this project – thank you for inspiring me to do this – I love you.
Agnetha raises her voice dramatically for the third and fifth verses in this song, to produce some of the most emotional singing I’ve ever heard. She may be 53 here, but as this picture shows, Agnetha is still as beautiful as ever.
Words & Music by Fred Ebb & John Kander
Originally recorded by Kitty Kallen in 1962. Lyrics:

For those who fancy colouring books,
And lots of people do,
Here“s a new one for you,
A most unusual colouring book,
The kind you never see,
Crayons ready very well,
Begin to colour me

These are the eyes that watched him,
As he walked away,
Colour them grey,
This is the heart that thought,
He would always be true,
Colour it blue

These are the arms that held him,
And loved him then lost him somehow,
Oh… colour them empty now

These are the beads,
I wore until she came between,
Colour them green

This is the room that I sleep in,
And walk in, and weep in,
And hide in that nobody sees,
Oh… colour it lonely please

This is the man,
Whose love I depended upon,
Colour him gone.
